What if Sonic originally started as an arcade game in 1983?
The game would have certain elements to Flicky and Donkey Kong, where Sonic is in a metallic and forest-themed area and has to free all the animal friends from turning into Badniks before the time limit (120 seconds) runs out. Badniks constantly respawn in a robot transporter/capsule, so Sonic must be fast.

No I am not joking lol.
Or in general the design of Robotnik's machines, I personally love them, the black and white is elegant and differs with the color scheme of the badniks in the games (Except Sonic 06 and Chronicles) the red usually of their eyes makes them see imposing. The design of these Badniks reminded me of the Egg Gunners from Sonic 06, and I wondered if the idea of the red eye, which is probably their weak point, was taken from the Red Eyes xd
One thing that stands out and that I appreciate about these adaptations of Eggman's robots is that they do not go so far from the design or concept of the Eggman classic badniks, what I want to say is that they maintain the essence of the mad scientist and they did not make them " Realistic". For example, the badniks from Sonic 06 :/
And about his machines, we have only had the Eggpod that I loved in the first movie, the Egg Mobile that also has an incredible design, and the Giant Eggman Robot that has a Brutal design
Let's hope to see what the design of Robotnik's other robots and machines will be like in the next movies, so far we only have the Buzz Bombers and the Crabmeats adapted and I'm 100% sure that the unicycle Badnik from the chase in the first movie was a Moto Bug or a prototype.
P.D.: Sorry if there are spelling errors.
The title is pretty self explanatory, but I am specifically talking about the new and original Badniks a game introduced rather than every Badnik that game has.

Considering that some obscure Badniks like Rhinoliner and Egg Flyer are set to reappear for Sonic X Shadow Generations, I am wondering what other Badniks you guys would like to see in Shadow Generations?

Can you guys explain what will happen when he does that?
Since the IDW comics do have a tendency of bringing back pretty obscure Badniks (even if it is just for a single panel cameo), I am curious on what Badnik you would love to see appear in an issue of the IDW comics?
I personally would love to see some more Sonic Lost World Badniks appear, as many of them have great potential to be formidable foes for Sonic and his friends.

Hey guys, remember that time a "joke" Sonic game released a year ago which had an emotionally complex train Badnik that had an interesting and emotional character to them?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone would like to name random Badniks and I could give various Pokémon types for them (mainly enemy ones, but any Badnik is on limits). Also, just because Badniks are robots doesn’t automatically mean all of them will get the steel type lol.
I bet @SpookyPump would love this idea tbh.
Y’all got any suggestions for entries I should add for this Badnik iceberg I have been working on? If you want to propose any entries, please just propose them via actually going on the iceberg rather than telling me in the comments of this post:
Here is a small series I thought would be fun making, where I tell you guys fun facts about every single Badnik from a particular Sonic game. With that out of the way, here are some fun facts for every Badnik from the OG Sonic the Hedgehog.
Moto Bug: they are confirmed to be the first ever Badnik Sonic has ever encountered according to the Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I (although in the Archie Comics, Caterkiller is instead the first Badnik Sonic has ever encountered).
Buzz Bomber: they are the only Badnik from the games to appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series (the Saturday morning cartoon one). Interestingly enough, their design from this series would be reused for the Archie Comics and be an inspiration for their design in Sonic Spinball as well.
Crabmeat: in the Fast Freinds Forever comics, the sand castle the Crabmeat builds in the "Flight Envy" strip is based on some castle from Amphibia (though I don’t know which one lol).
Chopper: they are the only Badnik in Sonic Superstars to have an explicit reference to Sonic Mania (since in the underwater portions of Lagoon City Zone, the Choppers will chase the player underwater like they did in Sonic Mania).
Newtron: it is shown in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I that the green Newtrons are capable of transforming into a rocket just like their blue cousins.
Batbrain: in issue 58 of the IDW comics, it is shown that Batbrains are strong enough to carry Caterkillers despite their size difference.
Caterkiller: in the Wii U/PC version of Sonic Lost World, it is possible to damage boost through a Caterkiller without it getting destroyed (something that could not be done in their debut appearance).
Spikes: before the 4.12.0 update in Sonic Dash, Spikes was the only Badnik from the game to not have a design taken from Sonic Generations (due to them not appearing in that game). Instead, the Spikes had a design similar to their design from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II.
Roller: they are the only Badnik from the original Sonic the Hedgehog to not reappear in any game after their debut (outside of a minor cameo in Sonic Heroes and their variant from Sonic Mania). Even Splats has made more appearances than Roller did.
Burrobot: they were the first Badnik that appeared in Sonic Speed Simulator to not use their Sonic Lost World design but rather their Sonic Prime design.
Jaws: they are the only one of the Classic Badniks early on in the Archie Comics to help Dr. Robotnik in roboticizing victims.
Unidasu: they were once planned to appear in Sonic Heroes before being scrapped for unknown reasons.
Uni Uni: in Sonic Superstars, Uni Uni are capable of doing the exact same attack pattern as their cousins the Unidasu.
Bomb: they are the only self destructing Badnik from the original Sonic the Hedgehog.
Ball Hog: they are the only Badnik from the original Sonic the Hedgehog to have an entirely different color scheme in Sonic Mania.
