I don’t know if Metal will have his game but I really what to see it
@NewMarioBobFan Sage would never betray Eggman. I could see Orbot and Cubot turning on him, though.
He already did. He got Sonic 4: Episode Metal
^that doesn’t count
There’s not even a story and if you put Sonic over his skin then i’d say it was a normal Sonic game
@Mr.Joker420 Ok, just so I'm clear. You think Episode Metal, which is only accessable as DLC and only consists of four slightly altered Acts from Sonic 4: Ep I is a "fully fledged game," but Shadow Generations, which uses completely different engines, is built on the framework of a different game, uses its own levels and bosses and is accessed from the main menu of Sonic X Shadow Generations, is only a mere "side mode" to Sonic Generations?
Am I understanding this correctly?
@Myself 123 No No. I said Metal TECHNICALLY has his own game. But it is just DLC. Never said it was a standalone game. Episode Metal is also a side mode.
Yes
I think it should be something like Sonic X Shadow Generations. The best idea for this is a Sonic Heroes remake with an additional Team Metal story.
"Should Metal get his own fully fledged game in 2027?"
"He already did. He got Sonic 4: Episode Metal"
Why lie when everyone can see what you said?
I'm gonna go against the crowd here and say absolutely not, there's no way Metal Sonic could carry his own game, nor does he need his own year. The Year of Shadow made sense because it was bringing Shadow back into the spotlight after years of absence and to familiarize and recap everyone with his lore before Sonic 3 released.
Metal on the other hand was never really an important character to begin with, just another badnik that appeared occasionally and had a big role in Heroes specifically, only to have his free will stripped immediately after.
Characters like Silver and Blaze definitely deserve their own game more, as there's lot more potential to expand there and their goals aren't just 'destroy Sonic'.
What do you think?
