I meant in the 2D games: Sonic 1, 2, three and etc.

In those first games, we only see Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and other anthro animals, with lots of "normal" animals found in forests or in their natural habitat (birds for example). But there is no sign of human life in the game.

The only one is just Eggman.

Of course, in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, and later games like Unleashed, and Sonic 06 have humans in it.

P.S: I think humans look really odd in the series. Aside from Robotnik, Gerald Robotnik and some humans, they don't really fit in the cast. Especially Sonic X who had humans in it. They REALLY felt out of place.
