I really hope this is a sign of a long needed change coming to this community.

I think the longer folks are here the more they open up to more opinions

There isnt really anywhere else to chat about Sonic as freely, so you kinda start thinking your opinion is the "end all be all", which you'll quickly discover otherwise hopping on here

I don't really care either way, but I know some people will play as them so I'm fine with their inclusion.

It's not like they left out any important characters for them this time, we have Cream back and even Sage, and we'll be getting more over time, so they're not really wasting slots.

Sounds like they have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Silver, Blaze, Cream, Espio, Charmy, Vector, Big, Metal Sonic, Sage, even Jet, Wave, and Storm. Those are all the ones that should be there so they can add more for more of the Deadly Six if they want. Maybe Infinite and Mephiles too.

I feel like Sega wants to sweep a lot of content under the rug if they could.

For example, actual firearms and the human race can be found under said rug. They recently got G.U.N. out from under the rug for Shadow Generations just to make room for Amy's lust for Sonic.

What race is Eggman again?

Any human who isn't a Robotnik or dead is under the rug.

I remember bringing it up in the other thread that they could've reused that model in CrossWorlds, but they didn't.

So just because it's a one-off in Shadow Generations, I doubt they'll make use of the model ever again anytime soon.
