If they remastered Unleashed, chances are they’d replace the 4Kids cast with the current cast. And even though I wouldn’t mind, I can sense people starting a hell-raising riot because of that.
Oof, I'll add that to my list of reluctant why I'd want the Sonic Adventure games to be remade.
It's one of the reasons I go on and on about Dreamcast Sonic for SXSG because if Dreamcast Sonic was canonized, along with Ryan Drummond for his voice actor, then simply have the Sonic Adventure remakes star Dreamcast Sonic along with other Dreamcast characters. The fact they were willing to rewrite Sonic Generations dialogue proves they could've added Dreamcast Sonic if they wanted to, but decided against.
Why would they add 9 new levels and 45 challenges with no room for boss fights when all that effort could just go to Shadow's campaign
Also almost all of the rewriting is just characters saying slightly different stuff
Remasters of Rush and Rush Adventure would be rad, they could call it the "Rush Duology Collection" or something
It's not like they didn't have time to plan and add all that content the last 13 years.
They could've tweaked Perfect Chaos and Shadow boss fights to be Dreamcast Sonic fights, which honestly would be an improvement if you think about it.
Plus, it would've made sense to introduce "Dreamcast Shadow" along with him in SXSG because why are all the Act 2's of Shadow Generation side-scrollers when Shadow never had a classic-era?
But because Sonic Team gave it a big miss means if we did get Sonic Adventure remakes, they'll likely conform to modern standards of gameplay and current voice actors, It's one thing they couldn't get Ryan Drummond back but if it plays like Reborn Sonic Speed Simulator I will be kicking myself!

There is a rumor of Sonic Heroes being the next game getting the remaster (or possibly remake) treatment. Taking that with plenty of salt of course but honestly Heroes is one of my top wanted games that I want to see a proper re-release of.
All in all, at one point I was vehement of the idea of Dreamcast-era games, as well as Heroes and Shadow, getting remakes or remasters.
But now, I feel apprehensive about it, over how much of it would be to current Sonic Team's standards over what made it great and stand out to begin with.
For example, Sonic Speed Sim's legacy gameplay in comparison to reborn gameplay.
I think sonic unleashed should be given the sonic x shadow generations treatment somehow, like putting a smaller game starring (silver, amy, metal sonic) or whoever is in the next sonic movie, bundled with the actual game, and then they should start with remakes tbh, sonic unleashed doesnt need a remake, so they should remaster that and just make another mainline game, and squish in some remakes every so often
I don't know if Sonic Adventure,Sonic Adventure 2,Sonic Heroes,Sonic 06,or Sonic Unleashed should get remastered. Those games are from the 2000s.
What do you think?
