Her eyes are also more open, as in what had happened, shut her off from her surroundings to a degree.

Saw this comment in another post, and it's true (and this is me paraphrasing):

"This explains why Whisper gets along with Tangle so well".

This is pretty much what happened to my character Calil, where she was normally extroverted until she joined the Great Demon Wars. If you want me to discuss more on Calil, you can say so.

Also, is that Mimic? Girl, you should know better than to trust him. I get this is a flashback, but still.

Also also, as a member of the Splatoon fandom, this is pretty much what (is implied to have) happened to Captain 3.

I'm pretty sure the original Diamond Cutters were inspired by FOXHOUND, given the dark clothing, specialized wispons and skill sets they possess... but Unlike FOXHOUND, the DC were still just a bunch of teens to young adults, each had their own lives before getting involved with the Resistance.
