Sonic lost world Wii U

This is a hard one, all these games just outright suck IMO. If I had to pick I guess it'd be Sonic 4 Episode 2 as it was less popular than the first despite being an improvement in every way, but Sonic 4 Episode 1 is absolutely terrible and I simply can't vote for it.

None of those are, really...

You know what game was actually underrated? Sonic The Fighters. It's such a goated, gorgeously animated and fun game that somehow ends up all the time in 'Worst Sonic Games of All Time" lists like- what? How is this possibly any worse than all the awful garbage spin-offs?

I'm still yet to play Superstars. Of the others, you could make a case for any of them.

Forces has the most vitriolic detractors, which is a shame because most of the complaints about that game are perfectly valid. There aren't enough levels, they're not well-designed enough, and every single one is way too short. What there is of the game is fairly decent. It's just that it feels like a demo. Anyone who calls it the worst game in the series needs their head examining.

Sonic 4 because people tend to praise episode 2 by slamming episode 1, when episode 1 is actually fine as well. There's some really good design in that game, and parts of it are a categorical improvement from the original game.

And Lost World because it's clearly the best game of the three. The art style (which I like hugely) is neither here nor there: what's important is the huge variety and quality of levels, and the fact that it's enormously fun to play.

@Flowerpuns Fighters is one of my favourite Sonic games too, but I've literally never seen it ranked as one of the worst. When will people stop watching YouTubers...

I'd say Sonic Lost World since Sonic 4 ep 1 is terrible but ep 2 is mid, Sonic Forces is the definition of missed potential, and I've never played Lost World or Superstars but people seem to enjoy the later for the most part.
