@FH2104 I didn't vote because I know there are users here who do appreciate AI Art and what it can do. However, this statement made by Flash-Gold-Echo bugged me a bit.

"It is the future, whether you like it or not. Humans will not need to apply for artist jobs and it will become just a hobby, whereas everyone else will use AI art. Also, it's fun to use and is already better than every human." 

I won't lie; this statement right here is wrong. Look at Tyson Hesse, Adam Bryce Thomas, Evan Stanley, and many of the artists that do Sonic-related media. AI, while a helpful tool, can't replicate the hard work these or anyone puts into their work. It is part of the future, and it's interesting, but it shouldn't take over people's livelihoods. I said what I need to say above, but this comment here isn't cool. Also, there's no such thing as a bad artist. People who say that need to open their eyes and see what they can do. Everyone can draw and has their unique style. Keep improving and practicing, and you'll see results.

I'm not sure about the Discord Server because it's its own thing. But in regard to Discussions, I think using it simply for fun, as other people stated above, is fine. Not all people have a talent for art (I as an example, do not have), some may have some kind of disability, etc. So, as long as the one creating the art is attributed, it should be fine to be posted on Discussions.

@SplashFactor Yeah, I am aware that AI cannot replace the personal touch of someone's creativity, but that doesn't mean AI can't be useful in helping people. Yes, people can draw, but some choose not to. We are the ones who write down the ideas on how to use AI art. We are the ones who still use endless amounts of creativity. And again, you aren't understanding this: not everyone can draw due to things like mental or physical disabilities. I am typing an idea for something, and I am still using my creativity to make something. I don't need a piece of paper and a pencil to create something with emotion. I can create emotion with clay, writing, or filmography. Sure, it might NOT be made with the personal touch of me drawing, but that's not a reason to ban AI art. I am tired of people saying, 'Oh, now technology is going to replace all creativity,' when no, it's just a new way to express it. I don't know if I can explain it to you better, but my answer is still no to AI being banned.

@Nathanthehazingdaze007 You mentioned that people without arms can't draw. If they had to experience that, my condolences to them. However, with today's technology, robotic arms can still allow people to draw physically instead of relying on AI. A disability doesn't stop you from drawing. Kenzcoolz has a disability where she can't speak very well, yet she's drawing and having fun with it. When I'm talking about drawing, I'm talking about various mediums (vector drawings, painting, clay, etc.). Everyone can draw; it all depends on your motivation and if it aligns with your interests. If people aren't interested in drawing, that's totally fine. Drawing isn't a hobby for everyone. I've said this already; I'm not voting because I know users like using AI to express their creativity, and as Luma said, if it's for fun, fine. However, I don't like the reasoning of what some users are saying AI is better than any human artist, or there's no need to draw because of AI can do it for them. AI is a helpful tool, I won't deny it, but if it takes away that learning and interactive experience, it's not right to me.

I think this quote sums up everything: "Basically, it's like banning calculators because you're a mathematician or banning ChatGPT because you're good at homework." Just because you're good at drawing, that doesn't justify banning AI entirely. Additionally, when I mentioned a "mental disability," I meant that, even with that, drawing might still be a significant challenge. I never said that a disability means you couldn't draw; I meant that it can be nearly impossible for some people. You're not taking into account those who are paralyzed or have poor vision. Yes, everyone can draw, but only if they have the ability to do so. Not everyone can afford robotic arms or legs, so even with those limitations, people might still use AI to draw.

I'm trying to explain this in the nicest way possible, and I'm not sure if I can explain it any other way. Someone being good at something does not justify banning it. There are people who can create amazing pieces of art, but not everyone has the time to do so. Even with that, people are using AI to make their wildest dreams come true.

@Nathanthehazingdaze007 The user you referenced believes that AI Art will take over human-created art and thinks it's better than human effort, which is morally wrong. With the banning of calculators in schools, I can understand why teachers do this. They want to see what the student is capable of and want them to feel that feeling of self-accomplishment. It's good to see what you can do on your own without relying on something like AI. Many schools don't allow ChatGPT and other AI programs because they want students to grow. I already told you my stance twice; please try to understand. I'm not voting for an AI ban, but I want users who use it to try to make an effort in the world of sketching. Also, being paralyzed and blind are entirely different altogether. It's sad because they might not even be able to write or move properly. Despite that, people still try, and they make an effort with their senses and abilities. The only stopping point is when you give up. Please don't make excuses and encourage others to try. AI won't fulfill dreams. Someone told me this, "A dream which takes no work at all to fulfill... isn't a dream at all." I stand by this. Dreams take hard work; they can hurt and make you feel sad. However, if you work hard and treasure it, you can achieve something amazing. You won't feel that with AI.
