I wouldn't categorize his performance in Boom as goofy. Colors and Forces definitely, "yikes" levels of goofy even, but in Sonic Boom he was more like... Casual. And tbf he did that really well.

I can't judge Frontiers' "Puberty Sonic", I haven't played the game yet.
