Forces being a continuation to Mania felt like that time when Sonic 4 Episode 1 was the sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Only difference was that Sonic 4 was released 17 years prior to S3&K.

Homestly, I only recently considered the 'classic era' the best one. I guess I was really dumb or something, because when I played S 3&K, I was hooked on Classic Sonic. I even bought the Sonic Classic Cokkection, where I recently lost all my hyper forms due to data corruption.

Pretty much everyone, I thought Forces was good.
