Since Journalistic's departure and Ultrasonic9000's thread regarding that, there have been voices that mentioned the idea of changing our wiki name. But, due to the large responsibilities we had had to do back then, we dismissed further discussions about it.
Back then, the original mindset of the proposal was, given that Journalistic's news outlet sites have been cut off of our wiki, how much of a "News Network" can we consider ourselves? Literally, since then, we've just focused on the site's primary objective, documentation of the franchise and reshaping the wiki for that solo purpose only (Thanks to the efforts of all of our editors; active and inactive ones). Sure, we got our own twitter feed thanks to the effort of Veralann later. However, we agreed from the start that it is going to be a feed about the wiki's internal activities, not a dedicated news feed about the Sonic franchise like TSSZNEWS or Tails' Channel.
Therefore, I'm here to ask if it still makes sense to you guys to have the "Sonic News Network" title as our wiki's name. If it reveals the wiki's identity, has a ring to it and looks attractive to visitors. Another reason for this post is that after Wikia turns into FANDOM completely and the anticipated domain change is done, will it still be safe to have "Sonic News Network" as our wiki's title in search engines? Will it still showcase our main goal?
