El Jump Attack o el Mid-Air Hammer Attack, es uno de los movimientos principales de Amy Rose. Su primera aparición es en Sonic Adventure y Sonic Adventure DX y luego en los tres juegos de la serie Sonic Advance. Es una variante del Hammer Attack, solo que este Amy lo hace saltando.
Descripción[]
Para realizar este ataque Amy primero debe saltar en el aire. Luego ella saca su clásico Piko Piko Hammer y lo balancea alrededor mientras realiza una vuelta vertical en el aire. Haciendo esto Amy puede dañar los enemigos que estén cerca de ella y entren en contacto con el martillo. Este movimiento es similar al Spin Jump (probablemente se inspiró en ese ataque) pero al usar el Piko Piko Hammer Amy adquiere un mayor rango de alcance que el que tiene el Spin Jump.
Cuando se realiza el Jump Attack, el Piko Piko Hammer deja por detrás un rastro de corazones rosados. En Sonic Adventure y Sonic Adventure DX este movimiento se realiza pulsando el botón B/X en medio salto, y en los juegos de Sonic Advance se realiza pulsando el botón A/B en medio salto.
En Sonic Advance 3, en cambio, Amy solo puede realizar este ataque si ella es la líder del equipo que hace con Sonic o Knuckles. Aquí, Amy debe ser el personaje que controlas y Sonic/Knuckles los personajes de ayuda que siguen al personaje controlable.
