Sonic Free Comic Book Day ist die siebte Ausgabe der Free Comic Book Day-Reihe und die zweite publizierte Ausgabe des Worlds Collide Crossovers.

Um im Crossover beide Welten kurz kennengelernt zu haben wird in dem Free Comic Book Day die Geschehnisse aus Sonic the Hedgehog und Mega Man kurz zusammengefasst und die letzten Ausgaben wiederholt.

Team Fighters, die Arctic Freedom Fighters und Silver the Hedgehog waren in die Basis der Dark Egg Legion eingedrungen, um die robotisierte Sally Acorn zu befreien.

Dabei gerieten sie mehrmals in Konfikt mit der dortig stationierten Dark Egg Legion und dem Grandmaster Akhlut. Um zu verhindern, dass Sonic the Hedgehog Mecha Sally in die Hände bekam, aktivierte Dr. Eggman eine erneute Genesiswelle.

Mega Man wurde von Break Man, seinem verschollenem, älteren Bruder bei seiner Geburtstagsfeier gestört und griff ihn an.

Proto Man wurde von Dr. Wily wieder reaktiviert, um für ihn Mega Man zu vernichten und Rache an Dr. Light auszuüben, da er Proto Man hatte links liegen gelassen. Als Mega Man ihm den Helm von seinem Gesicht abziehen wollte, um zu sehen, wer sich darunter verbarg, trat die Genesiswelle ein.

Archie Sonic the hedgehog Ausgabe 246 - Shard erzählte Silver the Hedgehog, dass der Tornado sich mit Team Fighters auf dem Weg zur Northern Tundra machte.
Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Ausgabe 216 - Akhlut besitzt wie Silver die Fähigkeit der Gedankenkontrolle.
