When it came to the RfUR, I thought it was like congress and whatnot with a 2/3 rule: If 66% or more are in support, it passes. If not, it fails. Just my two cents on the supject.
I say the one nominated can be allowed to remove their request for a promotion, but a demotion should not be allowed. That's just my opinion, anyways.
As I am not one that has really cared for the newer users (and in fact many of them have got on my nerves), I say that we..... don't bring back the rule. It's not like they did anything wrong. I can see where both sides come from, with lack of new editors due to the rule being lifted but then downright banning them if we put the rule back up. Kinda unfair to those people. And we've been able to handle the underedits who just spam and whatnot, so I don't see the negatives of keeping it. It's kept chat more active because before this half the time chat would just be, well, there, with nothing being said and when something it was it'd be along the lines of "I just killed chat, didn't I?"
A Sonic game where Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Charmy, Mighty, Amy, Sticks, Marine, Eggman, Nazo, Shadow, Rogue, Cinos, Silver, Espio, Fan-Character #626, Big, and Vector are all playable and have each like 6 hours worth the story and it's a Sonic Adventure-type game and there's a Chao Garden and 4k definition and Doritos and Mountain Dew promotion and no-scopes and The Uncredibles are playable as $15 DLC and the soundtrack is by Hans Zimmer and directed by Christopher Nolan and is in 3D
You know what?
This suuuuuuccccckkkkksssss.
I'd like multi-user commentary, with the LP'er (in this case you) in both Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and then we switch out users from Sonic 3 levels and Sonic & Knuckles levels.
I would suggest that kicking new users for swearing should be discouraged and only used as a swearing warning to more familiar users or repeat offenders instead.
I can see this point as well. We've been questioning kicks for cussing. We usually do, but this is a good point. I support this.
The movie Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif (yes, that movie) had this statement "I've got a horse's ass." and the movie ParaNorman has another character state, "What an asshole."
We're saying "keep it PG", and then we go and try banning a lot of cuss words, such as "ass", and s***, and then I've heard those in PG movies. The rating TV-PG allows use of the words "ass", "asshole", "hell", "goddamn", "damn","s***", and some others. Just saying, "keeping it PG" isn't the best advice, as I've heard words banned on here on them. So if we're trying to keep it a rating kids often watch, then why ban those words if they're on programs they can watch? And as other users said, you aren't allowed on the sight if you're under 13, so. The word "ass" should be allowed IMO. The word, "s***", no.
Censorship, however. Saying "b*tch", yeah, you pretty much know the word. I think censorship like that should be allowed, but should try to be avoided as much as possible.
I also think the links with swearing should be allowed as long as some warning is given like "[insert link here] Hey guys! Watch this (WARNING: May contain swearing).
I for one agree with this. I'm iffy with a** being used, but his last idea is one I have liked when it was first mentioned. So, yeah.
I want Pac-Man before we get Snake back so we can have a fight that would blow up any 90's kids head....
Mario VS Sonic VS Mega Man VS Pac-Man
Like all others, COME AT ME BRO (joking, don't hurt me). Pokemon Trainer's staple, R.O.B wasn't too bad nor was Diddy, Meta should be a bit more balenced and I just like Snake (but it's unlikely he's coming back).
Like all others, I don't think it fits in mainspace, but, sure, this is an awesome idea.
One thing, will Splash Hill, Emerald Hill, Windy Hill, and all others be merged with Green Hill? I mean, they all are pratically the same stage (just a thought though). And I'm guessing Sonic Generations won't be in the running for games due to all of it being stages from the past.
I oppose. TBH I didn't like the idea much in the first place as it could cause conflict and arguments between users. As said before, it is also often the same users every time.
